About our 'Society'

Our Society was formed in 1984 with the aim of 'Keeping Old Time Alive', with 50 founder members.

Membership stands at approximately 1000 people most of whom are active dancers or musicians, mostly in the U.K. but there are also members in Australia, Canada and Spain. The Society is managed by a committee of volunteers who are elected .by the members.The present Hon Secretary is June Urquhart. The membership fee is £10.50 for singles or £16.00 for couples at the same address for which members receive a magazine 6 issues per annum sent directly to their home. In addition, they receive special rates of admission at the various Society arranged events.
